　　编者按：英国著名科学家史蒂芬霍金的去世使人们感到惋惜的同时，人们再一次关注了这位伟大的科学家的著作《时间简史》，这本由中南传媒出版的书近日接受了100万册的订单。这本书的出版是湖南传媒文化产品的一个例子，湖南人勇于创新锐意进取，在出版业、电视业、演艺业、报业、动漫业使湖南走在了全国前列。

2017年湖南文化和创意产业实现增加值2196.18亿元，首次迈上两千亿元新台阶；比上年增长14.9%，增速比同期GDP现价增速高5.3个百分点，明显高于同期经济发展。“2017中国文化产业系列指数”在中国人民大学发布，湖南位列综合指数第7位，位居中西部第一。

　　Hunan’s cultural industry’s 2017 value added increased 14.9% from the prior year to 219.6 billion CNY and accounted for 6.35% of Hunan GDP. Renmin University of China announced the“2017 China Cultural Industry Indexes”which Hunan ranked 7th nationwide and 1st in central China in terms of comprehensive indexes. Hunan Province is known for its remarkable "Hunan Cultural Phenomenon", led by Hunan Publishing, Hunan TV, Arts Performing and animation industry.

　　《时间简史》的出版，让霍金这位英国著名物理学家和湖南出版界结下了不解之缘。出版该书的湖南科学技术出版社因此被称为“在国内首激科学人文冲击波”。后来又因买断霍金全部著作的内地中文版权，被业界赞为有胆有识的“大手笔”。

　　A Brief History of Time in Chinese edition, was published by Hunan Science & Technology Press (a subsidiary of China South Publishing & Media Group), which plays a role in close ties between Hawking and Hunan publishing. Remarkably, Hunan Science & Technology Press afterwards bought rights to Chinese edition of Hawking’s all works in Mainland China.

　　TV industry in Hunan Province keeps the leading position in China for 20 years. It is a world-run cultural industry. In the first half of 2017, the growth of radio and television services surged with the rate of 10.8%.

　　湖南省博物馆登陆央视综艺频道《国家宝藏》栏目。皿方罍、辛追墓T形帛画、长沙窑青釉褐彩诗文执壶等三件镇馆之宝在节目中亮相。

　　Three collections of Hunan Provincial Museum were shown in the program of"National Treasure" of CCTV January 14. They are Min Fanglei, T-shaped painting on silk from Xin Zhui’s tomb and Brown colored porcelain ewer of Changsha Kiln. Famous actors, hosts and singers made wonderful interpretations of the splendid culture of Hunan.
